WHO WE ARE

Tampa Athletic Club is west central Florida’s leader in the sport of Masters rowing! Whether you are new to rowing or have experience, Tampa Athletic Club offers a welcoming and comprehensive program for adult rowers of all skill levels and athletic abilities. ​

Tampa Athletic Club (TAC) was founded in the fall of 2011 by a board of dedicated rowers in Tampa Bay. Our club is a community of volunteer members that are enthusiastic about the sport of rowing.

Whether you are a recent college graduate, a seasoned rower, a new Learn To Row graduate, or a competitive rower, we have a seat in one of our boats for you! Our club participates in regattas from local events to national competitions such as the Head of the Hooch.

TAC is a community-focused organization which supports the City of Tampa youth program by providing equipment and volunteers. We offer the people in the Tampa Bay area, regardless of fitness level, the opportunity to experience the camaraderie and health benefits of the sports of rowing.
