On Sat & Sun FEB 21+22, 2026, we goin' to be mannin' the water stations to 5k & 15k runners determined t' get thar miles in, come sweat or high strollers.

Do ye remember 'em, late-summer coachin' practices? It's a day where the coach be in rare form to “kick yer booty" & you're workin' to get those meters in. The sweat already be a tricklin' off yer face ‘n back to the nether regions. Finally, time to 'ave a rum. Suddenly ye realize ye 'ave left yer water bottle in ye last ship. OH...$%^#

Again, Why We Don't Want To Walk The Plank:
TAC has a cooperative agreement with the City of Tampa and Team Tampa Rowing. In exchange for our volunteer time, we share usage of their brand-new boats & our rack space fees are waived in the boathouse. In short, we are permitted to row out of this boathouse ONLY because we have agreed to provide these volunteer hours.

Batten Down The Hatches & Get a Share of the Bounty:

Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled shift start time to check in at the Volunteer Desk
You'll be parking at Pam Iorio Garage (Parking voucher)
You'll get a free T-shirt, which you are expected to wear during your shift
You'll get a meal ticket to redeem at the Convention Center after your shift
You'll get a bottle of Zephyrhills Spring Water
You'll probably get in your 10K steps so wear comfortable shoes
